Can I bring my dog to the games?
We love dogs but please remember we are a very busy, sometimes crowded, outdoor event in the Scottish summer. If the sun decides to shine, we will be very busy. Please be prepared for all weathers. Bring water. Bring snacks (for you and your dog !). Oh and don't forget the poo bags as well. Please keep your dog on a lead at all times, for their own safety. Also please be aware that you may well be close to the action and while this gives a fantastic view on what is happening, we also use traditional starters pistols which go bang (quite loudly if you are close up). Please ensure you are comfortable with your dog in this environment.
We hope you, and your dog(s) have a wonderful day out here at Ceres Highland Games.
Can I volunteer at the games?
Volunteers are always needed for helping to run the Games. Have you ever wanted to see how the Games are run and be part of the oldest free Games in the world ? We need over 70 marshals and volunteers to successfully and safely run the Games on the day and are always looking to new helpers. The commitment can be anything from a few hours on Games day to as much time as you are able to give. We are a friendly bunch and would be delighted to see where you can help us, from setting up and taking down the Games arena, supporting key events, helping out on stalls, selling programmes, meet and greet with our visitors or helping run the car parks. Please message Tom our President on president@ceresgames.co.uk
